A year ago today, we adopted Amber at one of your events. We were looking for a dog for our toddler son, and after meeting several other dogs who were either afraid of him or totally ignored him, we were overjoyed to find Amber. She was a small white puppy, 10 weeks old, a mix of golden retriever and German shepherd. We brought her into the Petco to meet our son, and the two were instant best friends, clambering all over each other and playing. We brought her home and renamed her Daisy, and she has been an incredible addition to our family. A few months after adopting Daisy, we had our baby daughter -- and Daisy is wonderful with her, too. She even keeps our other two rescues in line! She loves to swim in the pool with us, explore the nearby field with our son, chew shoes, and play on the trampoline. She plays hide and seek with our son, rough houses, and sleeps in the hall to guard our kids' rooms at night. She is incredible, and we absolutely adore her. So thank you for giving us the opportunity to have her in our lives! Here are some pictures from when we first adopted her, followed by some more recent photos. Thank you again!! The Serpa Family
