Godiva.

Rosa (fka Godiva) was adopted in May 2024.  We received this wonderful "pupdate" from her adoptive family and we are so happy to hear she has made them complete!  Rosa just graduated from her puppy classes at Petco and as you can see from the photo, she is posing with her proud parents.

"We are so happy with her. She is turning into a great dog. We renamed her Rosa. We took her to puppy classes at Petco; she just graduated. She has gained a lot of confidence through the class and by us taking her to different places and introducing her to the dogs of friends and family. We also took her to Fiesta Island and a dog park and she loved both. She initially feared the car, but we worked with her and she jumps right in now. She’s still nervous about walking near heavy traffic but we are working on that too. When the weather cools, we hope to take her to agility training to further boost her confidence. We will also be trying her out at doggie daycare so she has some puppy play time. She loves to tug and catch balls and frisbee. She gets the zoomies almost every day. She initially had trouble with excited peeing (mostly meeting new people and when I came home from running errands) but even that is getting better. She has no problem with going into her crate at night. Walked her at Mission Trails yesterday and she did great. She’s very loving and affectionate. My parents are smitten with her as well. She’s been to the vet (for a UTI) but is better now after antibiotics. She has health insurance now as well. She also did an extensive grooming and tolerated that very well (bath, nail trim, teeth brushed, etc.). Thanks again for making our family complete again. It took us a long time to find just the right fit after we lost our beloved Sam last October, but we couldn’t have done better than Rosa."
