To see all events, visit our EVENT CALENDAR Page.

To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Foster a Rescue

Fostering is
  FREE and FUN!

We not only provide you with everything you need to take care of one of our rescues, but the experience is SO fulfilling. By placing one animal into a foster home, you allow us to save another. We are always in need of foster parents.

Halley

Phoebe (fka Halley) was adopted from ARWOB in March 2020.  We received this adorable "pupdate" from her adoptive family:

"This is Phoebe, previously known as Halley! She is a sweet and comical baby who will follow you around and never likes to be the first to go to bed. If you are up, she is up for as long as you are. I also had to include a blurry photo of her playing with a ball because fetch is her favorite game and always has been. Does not matter if she just went on a walk, she will keep playing for as long as you keep throwing. I have also learned that though she can be a bit timid with new people, she has yet to turn down a game of fetch from anyone. I have made sure to use that to my advantage when introducing her to new people. Not to forget that she will do anything for you when she hears the word “cookie.”  I am happy to say she has made our house feel a lot less empty, and is very loved by my family."
