Evie (fka Becky) was adopted in November 2022 and we couldn't be happier to get this "purrfect" update from her adoptive mom! She is BFFs with her feline friend Dorian! Here is what her adoptive mom had to say about her:
"She's doing great! We renamed her Evie and she's doing absolutely wonderful! She is best buddies with our other cat Dorian, a fellow rescue we adopted two years prior. They are a bit of an odd couple. She's a slinky, fiesty little thing and he's a massive, floppy Maine Coon but they play and cuddle together like long-lost siblings. She loves her people too, always happy to snuggle and give us licky kisses. We're so happy she bonded with Dorian and she's a perfect part of our household."
Donald was adopted in November 2022 and he joined a loving home with two other black panthers! His adoptive mom share this wonderful update and some very cute photos of the entire panther family. Here is what she has to say:
"Thanks so much for following up. My goodness, he's so in love with our other kitty. They play fight in the cutest way, bunny-kicking each other in the head; they play tag around the house; they have the biggest, warmest cuddle puddle in the afternoons. Since adopting him, he loves to lay in bed like a little person and watch TV with us. He cuddles into our head/neck when we sleep. He is the perfect kitty friend. Thank you so much!!!"
Bennie was adopted in November 2022 and we received this very nice update from his adoptive dad. He's living his best life with his feline sibling and enjoying all the love he deserves with his new family. Here is what his adoptive dad had to say:
"Bennie is doing great. It took a little bit for our cat Myra to warm up to him, but they get along really well now. He's also doing a lot better with our dog Pickle. Sometimes they'll both get zoomies and chase each other through the house. Bennie's favorite spots to hang out are either on one of the cat towers or in a window so he can watch the birds, he's very playful and loves to wake us up in the mornings by walking all over us, or sniffing our faces, he's a very loud sniffer we have discovered. The only issue we've had is that he likes to dig in the litter box and throw out all the litter, but we've since then gotten high sided boxes and don't have that problem anymore. Also he is definitely not a fan of baths lol. We look forward to spending many more years with Bennie."
Quoia (fka Treat) was adopted in November 2022. Her adoptive mom share this sweet "pupdate" with us. We are delighted to find out that she's enjoying life with her new family!
"Treat (we changed her name to Quoia, like "Sequoia") is doing great! She's calmed down a bit from the puppy stage- she's not chewing on things as much, and doesn't have endless energy. Most days, I take her on a 1-2 mile jog, which she loves. My husband also takes her on hikes and to the Coronado dog beach often. But one of her absolute favorite things is to sun bathe :) She loves our kids and our kids love her. We also have 2 cats that seem to be tolerating Quoia more and more. She really is such a sweet girl and we are very thankful for her being able to join our family!"
Pecan was adopted in November 2022 and he is now living his best life! He had a rough start with his mama and his 3 siblings, but thankfully ARWOB was able to pull them from the Devore shelter. The family had been "red listed" for euthanasia, due to the lack of space. Thankfully an ARWOB volunteer heard about their dire situation and drove all the way to Devore (2 hours one way) to exit the family and bring them into our care (a total of 20 kitties were exited from Devore that day by our amazing volunteer). Now Pecan is living with his new adoptive mom and he is enjoying all the love he deserves! We couldn't be happier about this "purrfect" update from his mom:
"He is doing great! He eats well and loves running around and playing with all his toys. He really likes looking out the window and see what’s going on outside. He’s a cuddle bug and enjoys having play dates with my parents cats. Overall, I’d say he’s doing really well and seems happy. I’m really happy I adopted him."
