Rosie (fka Strawberry) was adopted in December 2022. We received a very nice "pupdate" from her adoptive mom. It sure sounds like she is living her best life!
"She is Rosie now. We love her to bits. She does great with our other dog and family. We're looking into starting obedience training too. Rosie has tons of energy, but loves cuddles. She's the perfect addition."
Zoey (fka Daisy) was adopted in December 2022 and we received a nice "pupdate" from her adoptive dad:
"Daisy is doing great. Her new name is Zoey. We love her!"
We always love to share successful adoption stories, but we especially love repeat adopters. Mia was adopted in December 2022 and she is now a feline "sister" to TJ, who was adopted by the same loving family in May 2020. TJ had a rough start and came to ARWOB with many injuries. Thankfully she recovered and lives a happy and healthy life as a "tripod" and only one eye. Mia and TJ have become BFFs and we couldn't be happier about the recent update we received. Their adoptive mom has also been a wonderful ARWOB volunteer over the years. Here is what she has to say about Mia:
"Thank you for checking on Mia. She is doing wonderfully! Mia is a very active kitty and fits in perfectly with our other cat, who we also adopted from ARWOB (TJ). Both of them are the same size, around 7 pounds, and they play together a lot. In fact, as I write this, they are sleeping together, which warms my heart. Mia is also very affectionate with us. She loves to sit on my lap and purr as I work on my computer. She is also very playful and every day at 8:00 pm sharp, she sits by the closet door where we keep her toys, asking us to play with her. She is such a precious cat, and we love her tremendously. Once again, thank you for all that you do to help animals like Mia find their forever homes. We are so grateful to have Mia in our lives, and we appreciate your ongoing support and care."
We received a sweet photo of TJ enjoying her new BFF Mia. Both kitties are ARWOB alumni and we always love success stories from repeat adopters! TJ was adopted in May 2020 and she is a "tripod" kitty with only has one eye, but she continues to live a happy and healthy life with her family. Now she has an ARWOB kitty sister named Mia, who was adopted from ARWOB in December 2022. Here they are snugging together in this cute photo. Their adoptive mom, who is also a wonderful ARWOB volunteer, said that they enjoy playing together all the time too!
Sweet Lacey was adopted in December 2022. Her story is a special one because she is an FeLV+ kitty and she found the perfect adopter, who opened her heart to Lacey. FeLV kitties can live a normal and happy life -- they just have a shorter life expectancy than FeLV negative kitties. Lacey's adoptive mom has shared some photos and an update with us:
"She's happy and loving and affectionate and curious as ever. I think she would like to be an adventure cat and patrol the neighborhood but she's imaginative enough to stay busy with toys and I give her lots of play time. She's a great little calico companion."
