We received a wonderful update about Teddy and Lani, who were adopted together in June 2021. Their new names are Maddie and Purryl. We love the fact that their Mom is a repeat ARWOB adopter! In fact, she considers herself a "forever adopter from ARWOB." This is what she has to say about these two adorable kittens:
"You can see there’s lot of angst here- not! I can’t believe how well they fit it. They are two cool little kitties. My older cat Chloe (ex-ARWOB from Tijuana) went “okay” there’s more. Then Maddie and Purryl (their new names) went right up to the dogs and I think the dogs were so astonished at their complacency, they went okay too-we're family. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication."
Today's alumni update is extremely special, because TJ the kitty had such a rough start in life. She is a "tripawd" girl with just one eye, but that doesn't stop her from enjoying the wonderful family who adopted her and she is living her life to the full! She was adopted a year ago in May 2020 and here is what her adoptive mom has to say about her:
"Thank you for reaching out to us about TJ. She is doing great and we are so happy that we found her! She gets along with our other cat (Chris) and our dog (Layla) very well. She was a bit nervous about food for the first couple of months so we had to feed her separately, but now she is calm and eats with everyone. She is very sweet and cuddly and sleeps with us on the bed each night. She also likes to spend her days on my desk as I'm working. Her missing limb and eye do not stop her from playing like a maniac - our other cat Chris has to work hard to keep up! Overall she is very energetic and outgoing."
We received a fantastic "pupdate" about Lucky (fka Tomas), who was adopted from ARWOB in March 2021. Here is what his adoptive Dad has to say about him:
"He’s great! He and our husky are now inseparable, best friends. My kids just love him too, he’s been a great addition to our family. My son says he’s his dog. We named him Lucky and he already responds great to it. He hasn’t grown much, he’s a bit of a chewer still, but getting better. No potty issues at all. No training really, but he has a pretty mild temperament too. Been great, thank you for checking in and your help in finding him. Rescuing him has been the best experience."
Tobias and his sibling Chulo were adopted together in January 2021. Their new adoptive mom sent up this adorable "cozy" photo of them snuggling together!
Oh my goodness! Check out this adorable update we received about Tigger and Pooh Bear, who were adopted together in April 2020. Here is what their adoptive mom has to say about them:
"Everything is going very well with Tigger and Pooh! They have totally integrated with our family and love all the attention they get. They are very attached to our dogs~ once they have exhausted themselves with zoomies all over the house, they each choose a dog and snuggle up. They are very busy and keep themselves well occupied."
