Meet Niko!
A kind citizen noticed Niko and his companion, Molly, along a very busy street in Ensenada. They were spotted just as Niko was being hit by a car. He was lucky, as the car did not inflict severe injuries. His rescuer took Niko to the vet to make sure he was okay and he was released right away. Unfortunately the two dogs do not have a microchip, so their rescuer posted on social media in an effort to find their owners. No one came forward to claim them. Niko is strong, playful and full of energy. He is an escape artist, so he will need a good solid fence to keep him safe. He is a fantastic guy, who gets along really well with other dogs. He also travels well in the car.
He and Molly are currently living in their rescuer’s yard with several other dogs and they get along well together. Both Niko and Molly have no formal leash or crate training, but we are confident that they will learn quickly. The rescuer also added that although the pictures that they sent are not the best, both of these dogs are beautiful!
