Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Meet Coco!

Coco has a very interesting breed mix. She looks like a terrier, spaniel, whippet, pointer mix. We say this because she has a short coat with a wavy form to it, long legs, and a sturdy body with some pointer/spaniel points. She is basically some sort of terrier mix. Full grown, she is under 20 pounds but looks a bit bigger because of her height.

She is very well behaved and can be shy at first taking a few hours to trust, but slowly warms up to you, Her foster has had her for 2 weeks and in that time she has learned to trust and loves to wag her tail when she sees her foster. She seeks attention very gently and sometimes will stand on her two hind legs and gently place her front legs on someone. Her foster has yet to hear a bark from her, so she is a very quiet girl.

Coco is gentle, sweet, loving and, when she is up for it, funny and active. She gets along with children, dogs and cats. She mingles with the dogs but is not a huge runner with them.....at least not when the foster sees her but she has come back from the yard very dirty sometimes so she suspects she knows when to have fun with her friends!
