To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Meet Gigi!

Sweeter, than sweet, Gigi....this lovely lady can't wait to find her forever home! Within a few short days in her foster home shared with a canine foster brother and two feline foster sisters, she is fitting in well. Gigi is endearing, calm and quiet.

After her bath given by her foster mom, she lay back and enjoyed her hair being blown dry as if she were lying on a tropical beach! She enjoyed the affection and gentle attention. Can you be that someone to give her love in a forevever home?

Foster Update: Gigi continues to be a great companion and loves her humans very much! She enjoys her belly being rubbed and getting to fall asleep on you or next to you. She loves to wrestle with her forty pound shepherd mix foster brother and has mastered some pretty good wrestling moves. Gigi does like to be the dominant animal in the room but doesn't display this aggressively. She enjoys her time relaxing outside in the backyard and loves to play tag. Gigi hasn't yet mastered her leash skills and how to speak nicely to other dogs on leashe. When she does spend time with other animals though she seeks to enjoy their company. Gigi is house trained, it took her about 3 weeks to completely grasp the systems of her foster home. She is very gentle, and does the "sit pretty" all on her own when she is asking for something. Sits on her bottom, front paws in the air in prayer pose and shakes them forward at you. in combination with her beautiful big eyes, expression and pawing it's hard to resist her charm.
