To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

We not only provide you with everything you need to take care of one of our rescues, but the experience is SO fulfilling. By placing one animal into a foster home, you allow us to save another. We are always in need of foster parents.

Meet Cindy!

This pretty tuxedo kitten came in as a so called "feral" who was outside, but she is nothing but SWEET. She was in a very full to capacity shelter in El Centro where she was for six months. ARWOB just took her in at the end of January, knowing that she will be able to get more exposure to potential adopters so that she will be adopted and find her special forever home.

Cindy has that striking tuxedo coloring and the prettiest green eyes. She is so sweet, enjoys attention, and is VERY curious and interested in everything that is going on around her.! She also really likes to climb and loves climbing the tall cat trees and observing all that is going on from a lofty perch.
