To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Meet Bert! He came to ARWOB with his brother Ernie (who has since found his fur-ever home). Although Bert has a regal and sophisticated look, he is a silly, fun-loving dog who loves to play and be around his foster family. Bert is a bit fearful of new dogs at first, but warms up quickly, and is very good with cats. His foster mom has told us that Bert was wonderful when her 3-year-old niece came to visit, so he would be great with children. Bert is house trained and rarely barks. Even though he is a young man, he is very well behaved and a great companion. If you are interested in adopting this beautiful boy, please fill out an online application right away!
