To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Meet Fish Hook!

As you can see, Fish Hook has a very unusual name. Department of Animal Services took him in about 2 months ago. Through xrays, they discovered that he had actually eaten a fishhook with bait! Thankfully he passed the hook on his own and has no health problems whatsoever from this incident. When you meet Fish Hook, you will notice that he has the most loving, playful and outgoing personality! Like all young kitties, he has a lot of kitten energy and enjoys scampering about and playing. He is an absolute love and is so eager to cuddle and appreciate you; if you are looking for a really affectionate kitten, then he is a boy for you! Given his sweet disposition, we just cannot imagine why he was not adopted right away!
