About Sam | |
|
|
Big Sam is a great 7 month old pup,who looks a bit like a coyote but we promise he is not as he has nothing wild about him. He is your typical healthy, fun, loving, playful boy who has his whole life ahead of him and is eager ed to find a loving family who can show him love and stability. This little guy was relinquished to us by a family who no longer could care for a puppy. Especially a medium - large sized dog who is going to probably grow to be in the mid 50 pounds. Currently he is about 35 pounds.
He is a great looking critter with great big ears making him a silly little monkey.
Sam should ONLY be adopted by a loving human who knows he may or may not be close to 50 pounds as that is just what the veterinarian and volunteers believe he will grow up to be but he may or may not be bigger and hence he is considered a large breed.
Mr. Sam has a lot of personality and loves to go for a car ride. If you would like to meet Sam or have any other questions or concerns please, feel free to contact us at(619) 977-3593 or email us at animalrescuers@sbcglobal.net
Adoption Requirements:
1) Adoption application filled out and sent to us 2) Meet with Sam, if its a match the next steps are: 3) Home check by one of our volunteers 4) Adoption Application 5) Educational sit-down (Volunteer will give you information on pet care to prevent emergency situations, its great if you are a first time pet owner or haven't had a puppy in a while) 6) Adoption fee - $150 dollars Note - The adoption fee is used to cover the expenses of sterilization, 3 sets of vaccines, deworming, microchip, and other medical expenses that were needed during the rescue and care of Sam. It is also used to help other dogs/cats in need, its the only financial resource the group has to cover the cost of gas, food, flea medications, among other expenses. Your adoption fee help us continue to sterilize other owned animals, donate food and medications to low income families and of course to continue to rescue, foster and adopt both cats and dogs.
