Babe is a 6 month old little man, who helps us welcome all the new rescues into the group with his outgoing and loving personality. This little guy may fool you as he does look like an Alpaca (or a lama) but we are 100% he is part of the canine family.
Babe was found at a gas station in South of the border in Baja. When our volunteers asked around to find his owner the workers told us he had been there over night and with that we rescued him before he became one more victim of a hit by car. He was rescued and sent to our Baja volunteers for isolation and a long bath as his fur was black stained in oil.
Little babe has a strong and playful personality and would be great for a family or an active person who will keep him entertained since he is a very social little critter.
Babe is close to 10 pounds and has shorter legs. We believe he may reach 15 pounds when fully grown. He is not a barker, but will certainly let you know when strangers are walking by. He is crate trained and house broken. He loves dogs and people alike and loves it when volunteers bring their children to play with him.
Little babe is a handsome little devil with a lot of personality and is a head turner when he is out in public.

Adoption Requirements:
1) Adoption application filled out and sent to us 2) Meet with babe, if its a match the next steps are: 3) Home check by one of our volunteers 4) Adoption Application 5) Educational sit-down (Volunteer will give you information on pet care to prevent emergency situations, its great if you are a first time pet owner or haven't had a puppy in a while) 6) Adoption fee - $200 dollars Note - The adoption fee is used to cover the expenses of sterilization, 3 sets of vaccines, deworming, microchip, and other medical expenses that were needed during the rescue and care of babe. It is also used to help other dogs/cats in need, its the only financial resource the group has to cover the cost of gas, food, flea medications, among other expenses. Your adoption fee help us continue to sterilize other owned animals, donate food and medications to low income families and of course to continue to rescue, foster and adopt both cats and dogs.
