Meet Gerti!
Gerti is a sweet little lady who came to us after being found in the streets running around scared and very hungry. Her long coat was very matted and we knew she had been in the streets for a while. She was rescued in mid june and is a superb companion!
She lives with other dogs and a few kitties and does well with them BUT she is more of a people dog than a dog, dog. Meaning she seeks and prefers the companionship and love of humans vs that of her doggy friends and would be an excellent match for a family who is not looking to have multiple dogs, but just occasionally vist the dog park or socialize during walks. She is a TOTAL lap dog!
