To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

We not only provide you with everything you need to take care of one of our rescues, but the experience is SO fulfilling. By placing one animal into a foster home, you allow us to save another. We are always in need of foster parents.

Meet Kito!

He is great around other dogs and children. He can be active, but also relaxes easily. He loves to cuddle, give and receive attention and would love to be around children. He is silly and has VERY long, skinny legs so he just looks like a little deer playing around! He does have that wired hair of a terrier, but not the terrier attitude, ha ha!

Kito's foster family has this to say about him:

Kito rarely barks

He would probably work best for a working adult and may be able to spend more time in the crate or back yard.

Kito and his buddy are crate trained– they settle down quickly and have no accidents. They make it 10 hours each night without a problem.

Both dogs play well together and with Spencer ( a 16 year old Lab). Kito loves to run or jogg and has minimal pulling; he seems to enjoy the experience! Kito doesn’t like crossing streets or parking lots – but that could be a good thing."
