To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Meet Dora!

Dora is a very quiet, cuddly little dog who is happiest when she's curled up on your lap or sitting next to you on the couch. She is mild mannered and mellow, making her the perfect companion for an older adopter, although she is perfectly comfortable with children and other animals. Because of her calm nature, she prefers slow walks around the neighorhood where she can enjoy all the smells along the way.

Once Dora finds a spot where she can curl up, she stays there for a long time. She sleeps through the night in the same spot at the end of the bed, and isn't the type of dog who will wake you up early in the morning. Dora does have a silly side. She loves to stand on her hind legs like a meerkat to get a better view of the world, and she's known to snoop around the house and yard in search of toys!
