Despite a tough start, Bixby and his siblings Percy and Caramel are sweet and affectionate. Bix appears to be a maltese/terrier mix (his coat seems to be no shed), while his brother Percy looks like a mix of spaniel and dachshund (or maybe just a long haired doxie mix). Their sister Caramel seems to be a pug/terrier mix.
Bixby did great in the car and with his bath, and has been quick to learn how to walk on a leash. He's enjoying the company of his foster brother, especially when they go on walks around the neighborhood. Bixby does a very sweet little jig when you get home and his absolute favorite pastime will always be snuggling right next to you!

Bixby, his brother, sister, and several of her puppies were abandonded in Encanto and developed some skin problems. A good samaritan in the neighborhood was feeding them and finally brought them into the shelter. The puppies have been adopted, but Bixby and his siblings Percy and Caramel are still looking for homes. After receiving treatment at the shelter, Bixby and his siblings are doing great! He still has a little more hair to grow back, but he's a really a good looking pooch!
