Happy and sweet, lucky Kira was exited from the County shelter by ARWOB on Christmas Eve. Her greatest wish is to have a forever family for the New Year!
Kira was adopted from the shelter, but surrendered when her original adopter had emergency surgery and could not take care of her during his recovery. It sounds like it was a very tough decision, and we can understand why. Kira could not be more loving and sweet. She always has a big smile on her face and loves playtime. She was obviously well-cared for, and even knows a few basic commands (like sit!)
Kira is housetrained, rides so well in the car, and even loved getting a nice warm bath. She loves being out and about--especially when she can greet other dogs and meet as many humans as possible.
If you've ever wanted a German Shepherd but worried about how one might fit in your house, take a look at Kira! We are almost certain she's actually a GSD who got shrunk in the wash. Just look at that face!
Kira would do well in an active household where walkies are frequent and she'll receive lots of attention. She would do well as an only dog, but she obviously loves the company of other canines! We do not know how she would be with cats.
