Meet Zhana!
Zhana came in to the Department of Animal Control in July of 2014, relinquished by her owners who were moving. She spent 4 months at the shelter and became a staff and volunteer favorite. Fearful that she would be euthanized, the shelter requested help from rescue groups who could take her in. ARWOB made space at their cat adoption centers and was happy to step up and exit her.
Best choice we could have done! She is not only gorgeous but such a sweet personality, playful, and well behaved... just an amazing kitty who will make someone VERY happy! She had never been with other kitties at the shelter just around them and, interestingly enough, by accident, the same night Nash and Zhana where exited from the shelter and ended up in the same dog crate for the night while they were waiting to be transported the next day and they LOVED each other! 2 kitties who had no idea of who they were and they were fast friends within minutes and curled up next to each other. We didn't know if Zhana would have been good with kitties, but she was! 2 grown adult cats in a small enclosure who never met each other and were the cutest little friends right away!
They, of course don't need to be adopted together and could be the only kitties in the home BUT we think these 2 would love a home with other kitty friends.
Zhana has very small ears compared to her face/body, looks like a teddy bear!
