Handsome Jeff is a very athletic, slender, male neutered kitty who will take your breath away; he is THAT cute!
He has a long body with a long tail and just beautiful eyes which, being a Siamese, can sometimes look crossed-eyed.
He was brought in to Animal Control in Carlsbad as a stray and had some injuries likely from another animal. He is a very sweet, funny and has a curious personality. He seems fine around dogs, may not be best friends with them, but is completely fine with their presence.
He is more of a alpha cat around other felines. If he is adopted into a household with other cats, it would be best if they are dominant rather than submissive. If you have other cats at home, you should consider a Foster to Adopt, which means that you would be able to take Jeff home and see how he and your kitties interact with each other before making a final decision. We also think that Jeff would do very well as an only cat.
When Jeff was at our Cat Adoption Center in Oceanside, one of our volunteers told us that every time she walked in, Jeff greeted the most warmly with a meow, purr and face to face rub! His adopter should provide plenty of space and room like cat trees because he is agile and inquisitive, so he must be entertained when he is not being a complete cuddle buddy. He is a big, powerful kitty and cat trees and toys to entertain him will make him a happy kitty!
Jeff, along with some of our other feline friends, is located in the Cat Adoption Center at the new PetSmart in Clairemont and anyone is welcome to visit him there.
