Sparky is a small to medium size 20 pound small terrier mix who we believe has some doxi in him because of the longer body and shorter legs. He is wire haired and just a "well balanced" dog, as his foster family likes to report. He loves children and enjoys adults, he is good with cats and dogs, and LOVES to play fetch and swim!
He was found in January as a stray of Mexico where he was actually digging holes in the dirt on a cold night to bury himself in and protect himself from the cold weather. His rescuer just happened to be traveling and staying in a hotel and noticed him 2 nights in a row making his "little bed" on the dirt. So, on his final day before he left, he took the little guy with him and is now in need of a home.
Could that be you?! He is in need of a foster family as well, so maybe you would like to start a foster to adopt trial for this sweet dog and get to know him. He has so much to offer!
