To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Reese is such a sweet little girl! Initially, she was a bit skittish, but she has definitely become very brave and confident. She loves to play with her foster kitty brother (after she warmed up to him, of course), and they are constantly chasing each other around and wrestling one another. Dogs are not her favorite, but if she is introduced properly and they don’t chase her, she will tolerate them. She absolutely loves people and is very social and gentle. When she isn’t snuggled up on someone’s lap, she can be found basking in the window, or taking a cat nap in her little kitty house.

Update from Reese's foster mom:
Reese is doing super well! She is not scared of the dogs anymore and will walk right up to them or around them with no problem. We discovered that she loves playing with the dogs' tennis ball. She will chase it down the hall and bat it around with her paws like a soccer player. She is also pretty curious about water...I have never met a cat that will try to sneak into the shower when it is on! She is definitely a quirky girl with a unique personality.

She still constantly plays with her foster cat brother, and I think she would LOVE to be in a household with other cats. They take turns pouncing on each other and stalking one another around the house.

Reese is super social and snuggly, and enjoys meeting new people. Reese also likes to be vocal sometimes, to mew hello or mew back when you talk to her...super cute!

Reese is currently located at our Cat Adoption Center @ the PETSMART in Oceanside. If you would like to visit, please stop by any time between 9:00 am and 8:00 p.m. to meet her! She is waiting for you! We recommend filing a cat adoption application online as it will be a requirement for adoption.
