Welcome to Ivory's page!
Ivory was rescued early December 2013. She was actually a stray who happened to follow the right person. Her current foster dad was jogging an early morning and encountered a stray who decided to run with him along his side and followed him home. She was skin and bones (see before and after pictures below) but still had the energy to jog along, she must have sensed he was a kind man who would help her. Today Ivory is doing fantastic and ready to find a loving home.
Ivory is a very active dog, typical yellow lab, happy and playful who would do best in a home with a yard and an active adopters or a home with other dogs who have the same energy as her. She is being fostered in a home with 2 adults and 3 dogs. She gets along well with people, children and dogs of all sizes. She has never been around cats so we don't know how she would be around them but likely she would be ok.
She is great in the car, is learning to walk on a leash, and is crate-trained. Although she hasn't been house trained as she spends the majority of the time outside in the yard, she does well when she is inside the home.
This teen is looking for a forever home and can't wait to meet her loving family! Could that be you?
