To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Meet Perfect Roy!

Roy is a large breed in a small size. Pocket size really. He is full grown at 35 pounds. About Knee height.
So, if you always wanted a shepherd but live in an apartment or condo setting or just can't handle a large powerful breed but LOVE the shepherds he is a perfect kiddo for you!

Roy loves children and adults as well as dogs of all sizes. He is also great with cats. He is the perfect dog and the perfect size.

Roy was found near a park and had fresh facial wounds. Despite his injury of unknown origin, he was quite pleasant with the people in the park and took to his rescuer quickly.

Roy is very friendly and such a good looking boy that he gets lots of attention when he goes out for walks (which he LOVES). He is a very playful pup; he is attentive, obedient, cheerful, reliable and intelligent. When he wants attention from you, he sits next to you and waits to be pet. He knows basic commands, walks well on a leash and is house trained.
