To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

We not only provide you with everything you need to take care of one of our rescues, but the experience is SO fulfilling. By placing one animal into a foster home, you allow us to save another. We are always in need of foster parents.

Alise is a sweet, even-tempered young girl who was found by our rescuers roaming the streets of Mexico (as per the usual), looking very thin and malnourished. She was dodging cars and holding on for dear life until she noticed our rescuers who had called her over. Immediately, she ran to them for safety, her tail wagging on along.

Her rescuers report that she is extremtly loving, gets along well with other dogs, and seems to enjoy kitty companionship. She was able to calmly share space in a car with a cat and didn't seem at all bothered by his presence or constant meows. She is friendly, but can can be shy with people. She is a quiet girl, is crate-trained and is learning to walk on a leash very quickly. She rides well in the car and also loves to play.
