|
Mora is an adorable black Labrador Retriever mix. Since her and her twin sister, Neri, seem to be very small for a Lab, we believe they are some sort of Terrier mix as well. They were rescued together off the streets of Tijuana, Mexico and have been in foster care since mid March. They are great pups, and although they are being fostered in different foster homes, they have similar personalities and look very similar. As of 4/20 and at 4 months old they are 15 pounds, so we believe they will be 35-45 lbs when fully grown, making them awesome medium-sized dogs for an owner who loves the labbie look. Both pups are UTD on all medical, are healthy and ready to find their forever families.
They are crate trained, ride well in the car, walk well on a leash and are good with dogs, cats and children. However, they are in the puppy stages, meaning they can be a little teethy and mouthy. They are very playful, loving and would do amazing in a home with other dogs or with an active family who will keep them entertained.
Here's what Mora's foster mom has to say about her:
Mora's a sweetheart. She rarely barks, only at the vacuum or things that make a lot of loud noise. She's good with other dogs, especially once who are her size. She does get intimidated by larger dogs though. She walks really well on a leash and is close to being house trained (there hasn't been an accident in over a week). She does love to run around a lot and fetch is one of her favorites. Although she is in that teething stage, she will not bite hands and feet, just everything else. She likes to curl up next to you when she's taking a nap but is comfortable in her crate as well. She'll sleep there throughout the night without complaints. She also loves the water and won't give you a lot of trouble during bath time. All and all she's a really sweet puppy with a lot of energy. For the time being she knows "sit", "come", and "shake".
