A little bit about Wanda... Wanda is not your typically chihuahua. She's not yappy and is only vocal when playing with other dogs. She's a lap dog and loves to be held and pet. She's a very sweet dog who is the first to greet you at the door and is excited when you are around. She loves to cuddle and sleep close to you in a little ball. She also loves to run around and play and does well chasing after a ball. When you scratch her back she closes her eyes and if you scratch behind her ear, she will put her head in your palm and fall asleep. She does well with other dogs and with children and will be a loving addition to any home. She is potty trained and will walk on her back legs for a treat. A very sweet and loyal dog who is loving and happy when company is around.
Wanda was rescued along with one of her puppies. She had three puppies but two were killed by a car. She had "owners" but she was left to run on the street freely along with her puppies. These poor dogs were not fed, cared for, or housed consistently. That was 'til a good samaritan in the same neighborhood decided to take action and rescue them. Wanda is now eager and ready to meet her new family where she can enjoy the benefits of a caring home.
