Russo's family relocated and sadly, could not take him along. With them he was an outdoor dog on a long lead in Jamul where he spent most of his life alone. Russo is extremely well-behaved, affectionate, and mellow while also playful. This sweetheart can be an outdoor or indoor dog, although at heart he is a couch potato. He listens to commands and is house-trained. His former family mentioned that he was great with older children, puppies, and other dogs. Russo has a prey drive for squirrels and such, so we do not recommend having cats around this boy. Never barks or growls. Good on walks. He and our female German Shepherd get along wonderfully, it took them about two weeks to adjust but they are now inseparable. He cuddles up to everyone he meets, adores being petted, and loves sleeping on the bed when he is allowed up. A great little guy!
