Meet Dolly!
Dolly is a full grown about 25 pounds and shorter than knee high. She has some coat characteristics of a spaniel and maybe some facial expressions. She has the body of a Labrador retriever, a MINI lab if you will.
Dolly was found in the street of San Ysidro unwanted, abandoned and left to fend for herself. She was not doing a very good job of surviving alone in the streets ignored by many. Until one day her rescuer happened to notice a very skinny, malnourished, mangy, flea infested, weak, very thin little dog and she had to only look at her once to know she needed her help. She carried her home, looked every were posting signs and contacting animal control while she nursed her back to health in her home. After few weeks with no owner or tags, microchip and unspayed her rescuer knew no one was looking for her. Well, Dolly was very lucky to have been seen by her rescuer and current foster mom. Her foster mom mentions Dolly has an AMAZING grateful loving outgoing personality, her whole family loves her and after treatments and quarantined she back to being a healthy happy young adult dog who is looking for a family who will NEVER abandon her and will love her as much as she will love you!
Dolly is a great large breed in a small body. She is house broken, walks well on the leash and is a fairly quiet girl who LOVES people and children. She is OK around dogs, she can be a little shy around them at first but once she feels safe she comes out of her shell around dogs she doesn't know.
Dolly would be a great family dog with a fantastic docile loving personality. She is ready to be adopted and as much as her foster family is going to hate to see her go, it will allow them to keep helping other amazing dogs.
