Hello my name is Kovu.
I am 7 months old, weight about 20 lbs and I’m lots of fun. I enjoy playing catch with a ball or any other toy. I love play time and you can tell by my excitement once I go outside to play. If you start clapping I run around the yard. I am full of energy and life but when I go out for walks I tend to be a bit shy. If people try to pet me I walk away from them because I’m still uneasy about strangers. However, once you say my name and start talking to me for a while and I see that my foster mom approves of you then all of the sudden I am your friend. I’m still young and so when I go out for walks I enjoy making sudden stops and stare at cars and sometimes people. When I’m leashed and go out for walks I will follow your pace but if my other dog friend joins me in our walk then I try to keep up with him because he is a bigger boy and so I start picking up the pace and try to outrun him. But I’m still scared of larger dogs than me. When I see them at the vet or at Petco I freeze or I run back to my foster mom. I love kids, if they are nice and calm around me. I am potty trained. If my foster mom is out for a while then she leaves a training pad in the garage and I will walk from my room to the garage to do my business there . A silly fact about me is that when my foster mom arrives home I am so happy to see her so I run up to her and sometimes I end up twinkling (very seldom but it has happened) on myself. I feel so bad doing this but my foster mom understands it’s from so much joy of seeing her after a long day at work.
