Amigo is a small 8 lb, 4 month old male pup found on the streets. He was found on a ranch in a very rural area in Mexico, wandering the roads with another puppy, dehydrated and starving. Now he is ready for a home and has been learning the ropes from their foster parents home. Ideally he needs a home that has the time and ability to provide attention to this little guy, especially in these early stages of life; he needs to continue his potty training, puppy training, etc.
Amigo LOVES being around other dogs, so a home with another dog would be ideal or a home with other pets like dog friendly cats. He loves to play fetch and chase his toys. He can play for hours with his foster dog brother, but is also very loyal and is happy to follow his foster parents around the house or curl up on the couch and take a nap with them.
We don't expect this little guy to be more than 15 pounds when full grown, but we have been wrong before, so adopters should be aware of the possibility of having a dog potentially as big as 20 pounds.
Amigo is a sweet little pup who is crate trained, good walking on leash, and almost fully potty trained. He is actually fairly mellow for a terrier mix but we are looking for an adopter who will take the time to go through puppy training and help him exercise regularly or keep him entertained and socialized with other dogs.
