Barney is a 12 week old DSH/Tabby mix who was sitting at the overcrowded North shelter before a volunteer came to get him and his brother, Fred. Both are very curious and playful. The boys will walk around with you and observe what you do, they always love to be around the action. We are looking for an adopter or foster parent who can help us.
The boys can be approached very easily they are never hiding from you or running away when they know you will pick them up, however, when they are being loved on they prefer to be placed on the floor after a couple of minutes. Their current foster mom is afraid with the multiple kittens she has at her home they are just so focused on playing and loving on their kitty friends that they just don't seek human companionship as much.
Could you help us? We are looking for someone who is maybe home a lot or has children who will probably be picking up the kittens, playing with them constantly. Ideally a home who doesn't have too many pets so they can focus just on their human family.
They LOVE cats, are comfortable around dogs, use their litter box very well and LOVE to play around and follow you around. They are super amazing little guys and we would love to keep them together or maybe adopted with a kitty foster friend like: Paloma, Palomino, Oliver, Panda Bear or Grizzly Bear.
