To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Rex is a 1 1/2 year old Lab mix who is a rescue from Mexico. He is a beautiful golden color and weighs about 40 lbs currently.

He's super sweet with people as he will come up to them wagging his tail in a very friendly way. Since he's such a respectable young dog who also is not extremely active, he will likely do well around children as well. He is playful with other dogs and gets along fairly well with any size and breed. In fact, when he goes to dog park, he greets and plays very gently with every dog he encounters. We have tested him around cats and have determined that he has no prey-drive whatsoever and would make a good companion to another kitty friend in his new home. If you take a look at his pictures, he's actually very comfortable sleeping right alongside them as well. He is crate-trained and leash-trained. He's actually pretty okay on the leash and doesn't pull ahead too often. If he does, he does very gently with hardly any strength.

Rex is ready for adoption immediately. He is UTD, de-wormed, neutered, micro-chipped, and has a clean bill of health.
