About Kari | |
|
|
Kari is a 2 year old Terrier/Doxi mix who is fully grown at 15 pounds. She was rescued from off the streets in Mexico where her rescuer witnessed another larger dog attack her over food. She suffered lacerations on the face, neck, and skull due to the event so she does have scars.
Despite this unhappy event, Kari is great around people - men, women, chlidren - and she does well around other dogs and cats. Although she's generally good with other dogs, initially she is somewhat shy especially with larger or high-energy dogs. Because of this, she would idealy prefer a home with dogs that are not too "in her face," otherwise she can go to a home with dogs of any breed or age. She is not much of a barker, is crate-trained, potty-trained, walks well on the leash, and does great in the car. She is super happy all the time and enjoys being loved by people when they give her pets and kisses.
Kari has a very interesting personality. She loves to run around and follow you while going around in circles of happiness. However, she still is an old soul at heart so while she certainly has her little moments of spunk, she's generally very docile and gentle. Since she's such a calm dog, she would prefer a quiet, easy-going home.
Kari is UTD, had an excellent bill of health, is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and ready for her new home immediately.
