To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Chelsea is a 10 month old Shepherd mix who weighs about 35 pounds. She was rescued from Mexico where one of our volunteers took her in. She has been in San Diego since Late February in a foster home and she is such a healthy sweet pup. Her foster mom has described her as a mellow, loving and outgoing pup. Her gentle disposition would make her a great companion in a home where there are other dogs, cats, and children. She will likely be a smaller Shep mix as she is nearly fully grown so she won't require a lot of room like a yard. However, she does need someone who will keep her entertained, active and social around other dogs in case she were to be adopted into a home without any other dogs. She is not much of a barker nor is she a hyper girl so Chelsea would even be great for a quiet household.
