To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Guapo is a 4 month old DSH/Tuxedo blend. Guapo (Spanish for 'handsome') is a great kitten! As of 12/10/10 he weighs 3.5 pounds and is on the smaller side. He loves other cats - young and adult - and plays, cuddles and loves them instantly. He also enjoys playing with kitty friendly dogs, especially the ones with long tails as he loves to playfully chase and swat at them!!

Guapo was found along with his friend Mink and were best friends for a month, but they are now in different foster homes. Since then, Love Bug & Guapo have become foster brothers and love each other. Guapo can be adopted alone but would prefer a home with another kitty in the household or if you are thinking of adopting 2 kitties, Guapo gets along very well with Love Bug, Cheri or Big Red (his other 3 foster friends).

We found out Guapo, for some reason, LOVES to play with his water bowl and you can see a video of him 'splish splashing away.' Because of this, he requires a mat and towel under his water bowl to avoid any kitty-made lakes!

He loves toys and has a very cute 'meow.' He's not a huge talker but he will put in his 'five' cents once in a while. In addition, he LOVES to cuddle - just an overall fantastic kitten!
