Quincy is about 7 months old and is a Aussie/Blue Heeler mix. Her mother, Winnie, is a Schnauzer/Poodle mix, so it's strange that Quincy looks like neither of those breeds, but since the mother was a street dog, she was likely impregnated by more than one male dog of which breed we do not know. Quincy and her siblings are looking for homes. They are all good with people, dogs, walk on the leash, are crate-trained, and house-broken. They are healthy and need to be adopted!
Quincy is simply a charm to be around. She is VERY friendly and social around everyone and jumps up giving them kisses whenever the opportunity presents itself. She certainly needs to learn her manners when jumping up and we are presently teaching her to sit to greet someone while offering kisses and tail wags. Quincy is generally okay around other dogs, but may be a little snappish towards them at first. However, since firmly correcting the behavior the next time it happened, she has altogether stopped responding in such a way and has shown improvement by passing by other dogs peacefully and greeting them very friendly. Quincy is a FAST-learner and quickly knows who boss if they present themselves in such a way. Overall, she's a very playful and active pup and will thrive in a home where she can have companionship. She really does like to be with others and definitely learns better with one-on-one attention. She's an amazing girl who has so much love to offer. Please help this girl by offering her a home!
