Izzy is in need of an immediate foster parent - She is new to the group and is unfortunately in a boarding situation which is not good for her as she is so shy in that setting.
This is izzy
A dsh smoke color exotic. Spayed female, microchipped, fully vaccinated, dewormed and excellent health. She is full grown approx. 14mo and 10lbs.
Izzy's story. She was recently relinquished by owner who has two young daughters and two adult cats. Not exposed to dogs. The owner has had Izzy since she was 6 wks old when someone found her wandering the streets. She has been in the same home and loves her daughters but never bonded w her bc of her hectic schedule. It seems that her boyfriend no longer wants the cat in the house and hence she is now looking for a family who will help her heal from such devastating family loss. She is currently shy because we have had to place her in a boarding facility setting as we don't have an available foster family and will do well in a home who will provide her with the love and patience she needs to trust people and start bonding to a new family.
She is a gorgeous healthy cat, who will probably be shy and a little hesitant and unsure of her surroundings because she is no longer in the home she had come to known and lover as her own. She will either benefit from a home with older children who will be patient and slow with her for a couple weeks until she knows she can trust them as she probably misses her small young humans. A home with other cat friendly cats would also make her feel at ease.
Please, contact us if you can help this beautiful girl regain some trust either by helping us providing a temporary foster home or a foster to adopt situation if after couple of weeks you and your family feel she is a great kitty to adopt.
An adoption fee can be waived to the appropriate family and if we believe after a month she feels comfortable and happy in her new home.
