Goldy is a 6 month old German Shepherd/Lab mix. She is a very docile, submissive, and low-erergy pup. She is not a barker and does well with people, children, other dogs, and cats. Goldy is currently 22 lbs, but can reach the same weight around her mother, so it is possible that she may reach 50lbs. She is healthy, UTD, and ready for adoption immediately.
Goldie was adopted a month ago. She was a perfectly well-behaved, quiet puppy who loved to play around and, of course, get into puppy trouble with her foster siblings. Unfortunately she was just returned by her adopting parents because they haven't been able to meet her requirements for puppy obedience classes and exercise & socialization activities. Her returning adopters mentioned she was being returned because she is digging, barking in the yard and being "rowdy" with their other dog. Essentially Goldie is simply a playful, healthy and normal happy puppy. She is now in an environment where her foster parent has assessed her and believes she is a perfect sweet girl who doesn't excessively bark but only does so when she is scared or unsure of what is happening around her. Her foster parent will be socializing her to help her be more confident. Otherwise she is such a loving beautiful perfect girl!
She walks well on the leash, is crate trained and almost house broken. As of 3/23/10 she is 6 months and 30.5 pounds. Great with children cats and dogs. Goldie is looking for a serious adopter who will commit to her healthy normal puppyhood stages like walking her several times a day, going to the park, attending puppy classes and of course spending time with other people and dogs.
