To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

UPDATE 10/20/23 from Lucy's foster family:

Lucy is very friendly and loves playing with toys. She loves greeting you. She is crate trained, with no potty accidents inside the home. She still needs more training with the leash, as she wants to play with it. Lucy is friendly with other dogs, but she does get excited.

ORIGINAL RESCUE STORY:

Hola! My name is Lucy!

I was rescued the first week of September off the streets of Baja by a kind human who likes dogs and saw me in the streets trying to find help, she couldn't leave me behind.
I was flea infested of course, dirty and had a fresh wound in my back leg. She asked people around and they all said I had been walking around for the past days lost and disoriented but no one helped me until she stopped and took me home. She took me to the vet in Tijuana and they bath and stitched me right up. I am now in San Diego being fostered by her but she has her own doggies and can't keep me so she is fostering me until ARWOB finds a forever family for me. I do need to be spayed and will not be available for adoption until mid October. So, please, submit the adoption application and perhaps we can start the process to set up a meet and greet. I am your typical puppy so I will need a family who is READY to tackle house training and doggy obedience so I can learn and be a great dog when i grow up. Just like children, puppies also need to go to school too! My foster say's I am a total love bug, dog friendly and now crate trained to sleep at night with no problem.
