Meet Thumbelina aka Linda!

UPDATE 10/20/22

Thumbelina has had a sleep over with a foster for couple days and this is what she has to say about this sweet girl in the 48hrs she has known her:

"Here’s what I have to say about Linda after 2 days:

Linda is a young adult in a puppy body! She is super playful and fun, always ready for just about anything. She is very inquisitive and fascinated by new things and situations. Linda will be running and jumping like a baby goat one minute and snoozing in your lap or on a soft bed the next.

She is crate trained and will sleep all night after a couple of minutes of complaining, and rides great in the car. Linda is very happy to be in the company of other doggie friends, taking correction quickly when she tests their boundaries. So far she hasn’t met a human she didn’t like.

She would be great for an active single, couple, or family who’s looking for a dog they can take places with them and enjoy life’s adventures together. "

10/10/22

This little lady is a young adult from 10mo- 18 months already full grown. Typical small wirehaired coat so she likely has a poodle/chi mix and other breeds in her. She is 13 pounds already full grown.
She is a total sweetheart of a loving social fun and very loving dog.  She was rescued from Tijuana Mexico earlier in September when a friend noticed a homeless group camped outside her store for past couple days and they typically had her tied up with their sweater by them. She offered to help them with her to spay her but after chatting with the they agreed to relinquish her care to us. After a bath and a trip to the vet this girl showed to be in excellent health and a total sweetheart who adores people and doggy friends. She has been introduced to cats and would love to be friends with them too!
She is crate trained, not a big barker UNLESS she is outside in the yard unsupervised and like all small breeds will bark if she senses something around the property but has not exhibited to be a yappy little girl, just normal behavior for dogs notifying humans something is going around outside the home perimeter. She is BFF with Ava our pointer 40lb and also enjoys little Almond who could be a long lost cousin to Linda ha ha
Thumbelina is a fantastic dog and would be a great addition to anyone looking for a social, happy, outgoing, playful and full of love little gal.

She has a cropped type tail so small tail and its likely she was born that way. We do NOT know if she is hypoallergenic NOR if she sheds a lot so we don't recommend to apply for this little girl if you are allergic to dogs as we don't know if she falls in those parameters.

She will be debuting her attendance at events this Saturday 10/22 at our Mega event so submit your application to adopt for review ASAP so we can schedule a phone interview. If she is not adopted at that event we can always schedule individual meet and greets in the 92117 area as long as we have an approved application for adoption.
