To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Meet Jackie!

UPDATE 7-7-22 from Jackie's foster family:

"Jackie is a very curious cat. She loves to chase after her small toys and catch and jump at her wand toy. But, she is always down to cuddle with you and sit on your lap. She is a very sweet and social cat who loves people. She adjusts quickly to her new environment and loves to explore. Jackie is sure to bring you smiles and joy with her mischievous antics and her endless conversation!"

ORIGINAL RESCUE STORY:

If you work from home and are looking for a loving, furry companion and someone to talk to, Jackie is your gal! She is very chatty with her unique, cute chirpy meows. She was rescued from the streets of Ensenada by a good samaritan who contacted Arwob. Jackie is a confident lady and not afraid to speak her mind! She is very social, thrives on human attention, and is also very playful and loves wand toys."

Jackie can co-exist with other cats, but she seems to prefer being the center of all the human affection, so she would likely prefer being the only cat in the household. She has not met any dogs but a gentle, cat-friendly dog might be ok with the proper introduction. She also has not met any young children, but given her social and friendly personality, we expect she would love respectful kids who can shower her with love and affection.

Jackie is currently at our cat adoption center in the PetSmart in Clairemont.
