Meet Valentina!
Sweet, sweet, SWEET Valentina is an adorable kitten who has sadly tested FeLv positive (Feline Leukemia). She is looking for a family who will overlook this 'disease' and offer her a forever home, whether that be a short span of a couple of years, or a long life span like some Felv kitties have. We do need to find a forever family for her who has NO other cats in the home or has other FeLv kitties in the home. She is good with dogs and great with kids and, of course, all people. She was rescued from the streets in early February as she was battling a cold and some eye infections which we have since treated. She is loving, social and always seeking human companionship. She will be available for a meet and greet after 3/11/22.
Adoption process:
Submit a cat adoption application online at ARWOB.org
Once received, an adoption counselor will contact you via phone or email within 1-4 days of submission to finalize processing your application. If approved to adopt a meet and greet will be scheduled at our adoption center at which time if the meet goes well and you choose to move forward with the adoption our kitties are ready to go home the same day.
*Once you submit an adoption application online if the cat you select is no longer available or is not a match for you but you are interested in other cats there is NO need to resubmit an application, just request ARWOB transfers that application to another rescue cat you'd like to meet which we currently have available for adoption or if you see someone in the future you'd like to meet please contact the group and request to reactive your application.
Notes for applicants:
-We do NOT place holds on rescues, please, do not submit an application unless you are READY to adopt MEOW.
-We require landlord approvals. if you rent, you should have written landlord approval before you apply to adopt a cat as we can't hold adoptions back or place hold on rescues.
-If you are not contacted by a volunteer within 4 days of submitting an application, please contact ARWOB via email to follow up on your application status, we typically cancel applications if there is no communication from both parties within a week and assume applicants are no longer interested.
