To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Meet Gordo!

This very handsome, silly, goofy boy is approximately 25pounds and 9 months old. He will likely reach the 25-30 pound range when full grown. He was rescued from the streets of Ensenada, Mexico. He is your typical sweet, loving, and very playful guy, who enjoys playing around with his toys and being babied. Gordo currently lives in a home with multiple dogs and cats. He is very dog friendly and cat friendly. Loves human attention and would do great in a home with children as well. This little dude is the epitome of easy going and friendliness. He doesn't look like a small breed as he looks bigger than he actually weighs and he looks like a black lab in a low rider body (long sturdy body with shorter legs) he loves dog toys and to goof around w doggy friends. He is currently crate trained and has never had an accident on his create and is very happy and content at night and several hours through the work day when not supervised. He is not a very vocal dog at all and rides well in car rides. This healthy handsome boy is ready to meet his forever family and will do fine in a home with a yard or an apartment setting. Ideally a home with another dog or cat friend but as long as he is kept socialized and having fun at dog parks or doggy day care he would be fine as an only dog.
