Meet Zodiac, Zoe, Zulu, and Zuni!
UPDATE 10-21-21: Here is what Zodiac's foster mom has to say:
"Zodiac is an amazing, timid boy who can’t get enough love from his people. He is cautious with his adventures but loves to explore when his surroundings feel safe for him. He is a gorgeous boy who loves to play with squeaky toys and earn his treats, of course. He loves small children as well. Zodiac will be such an awesome addition to any family."
ORIGINAL RESCUE STORY:
These four adorable siblings were rescued from the streets of Ensenada, Mexico in late August. These pups are currently fostered in San Diego and are now ready for adoption. Of course they engage in typical puppy antics. They are active, mischievous, and super loving/outgoing.
These pups are great with dogs, cats, and children. They are learning to be crate trained and will need an adopter who has time to devote to puppy house training, potty training, and obedience training. They will likely grow to be in the 40-60 pound range as medium sized dogs.
The pups can meet potential adopters as soon as Friday, 10/15/21. If all goes well with their meet and greet, they can potentially go home that same day. However, they will be sterilized at a local veterinarian clinic in the 92104 area of San Diego on Monday, December 6, 2021. The sterilization surgery is already included in their adoption fee. This means priority will given to local area applicants who live within 40 miles of zip code 92104. This will ensure the adopter is available to take their new puppy to the pre-scheduled surgery appointment and then pick them up at the end of the day after surgery. The appointment cannot be rescheduled or cancelled. Please do NOT submit an application if you do not live within 40 miles of the North Park area (92104) of San Diego. If you would like to adopt and live outside of the specified area, you are welcome to wait until their sterilization surgery has been completed to see if they are still available at that time (please note that we do not place holds on any of our rescues).
