To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Meet Dali!

Dali was rescued in Mexico after his owner neglected him by letting him roam around the streets. He was not vaccinated, very malnourished, matted and filthy. Some good neighbors who lived near the owner took Dali to see the veterinarian. They first went to see him regularly, but after a few weeks they abandoned him at the vet clinic. Doctor Angelica didn’t have the heart to take him to the dog pound, so he stayed at the clinic for 3 months until one of our rescue contacts in the area learned about him and met him. As fate would have it, one of the local fosters was free and able to take Dali. He was moved to the foster in July and he has since been thriving!

ARWOB had taken Dali under our care and we are getting to know him better. What we do know is that he is most likely a Maltipoo/Havanese mix or a Terrier/Havanese mix. He is good with other dogs, cats, and children! We have been told that he is a very mellow dog, but he is super friendly and playful too. While in Mexico, he was fostered in a home with one person and two resident dogs. He is still learning how to walk on a leash, but he is crate trained. He would love to find a forever home where he is loved and has the kind of life he deserves! If you are interested in this handsome little man, please submit an application at www.arwob.org.
