Bebe is a Baja, Mexico rescue. She and her 4 siblings were rescued when we encountered their mom and the babies. Their mom has been spayed and adopted. Only Becca and Bebe remain with the group.Bebe has the looks of a B.M. has a slender body and is smaller than Becca. We believe she was the smallest of the group but she may prove us wrong.
Currently she is 8-9 months old and about 45 pounds.
She is very smart and has great potential, however, she will need an adopter who will have time to train her and dedicate the time she needs in puppy/obedience training since her mind does tend to wander at times. Despite this fact, she is one of the most well-behaved puppies out there. She has excellent house manners, is house-trained, crate-trained, and does not chew on anything she is not suppose to. She enjoys toys very much and can't help but have one in her mouth when she is relaxing inside. Bebe is a lover and will share her toys with everyone. When it comes to mealtime, she is very polite and does not mind other dogs or people being around her when she is eating. In addition, she is not a beggar and minds everyone well when they are eating their food. As everyone else in the house prepares for bed, Bebe is really good about settling down and curling up in her favorite bed to sleep all the way through the night. And she stays in bed until her master decides it is time to get up.
Bebe is slightly shy at first but is a great girl. If you show her commitment and patience, Bebe will bond with you without a doubt and will follow you wherever you go. She does very well with dogs and children, but has not been tested around cats.
Bebe does tend to act nervously on the leash with all the new sights and sounds out there to explore. However, after quickly sitting her down and reassuring her, she walks on forward confidently. She is getting better with leash-training, though she can pull randomly when she is anxious. She does respond to correction and is learning more everyday.
