Meet Lana!
My goodness, this puppy is a total sweetheart! She is a happy and playful puppy that will melt your heart. She was rescued as a singleton while living on the streets as a vagabond, searching for food and trying to survive. A good Samaritan rescued her and took her home. She is now in Tijuana and her quarantine period is OVER, so she is ready for adoption. She is fostered in a home with children, dogs, and cats. She is create trained, but not potty trained yet. Like all puppies, she will need a family to show her the ways of puppy training. Of course we don’t know her exact breed, but we have made our best guess based on what she looks like. She is approximately 15 pounds and 6 months old, so she will likely grow to be in the 25-35 pound range when full grown. We are looking for a foster family for her or a permanent adopters.
Lana can meet potential adopters right away. If all goes well with her meet and greet, she can potentially go home that day. However, she will be sterilized in the 92104 area of San Diego on Monday, June 28, 2021. This means priority will given to local area applicants. This will ensure they are able to take Lana to the pre-scheduled surgery appointment and then pick her up at the end of the day after surgery. Please do NOT submit an application if you do not live in the San Diego area. If you would like to adopt and live outside of San Diego area, you are welcome to wait until her sterilization surgery has been completed to see if she is still available at that time (please note that we do not place holds on any of our rescues).
