Meet Cherry!
UPDATE 4-20-21: Cherry has a pending adoption.
We rescued Cherry’s brother Melon back in mid-March and he has already found his adoptive home. The reason we are just now taking Cherry into our care is because she had been undergoing treatment for a skin condition that is totally cleared up. She is a bit shy, but no where as shy as her brother Melon! She knows how to walk on a leash and sleeps in her crate at night. She is sociable with other dogs, although we do not know if she has been around cats. Given that her brother Melon had been left tied up and neglected for the first two months of his life, we are assuming Cherry may have had a similar experience. Once we get to know more about Cherry, we will update her bio.
We will be scheduling an appointment for Cherry to get her spay surgery and we will update her bio with the date/details as soon as possible. Please do NOT submit an application if you do not live in the San Diego area. If you would like to adopt and live outside of San Diego area, you are welcome to wait until her sterilization surgery has been completed to see if she is still available at that time (please note that we do not place holds on any of our rescues).
